Lamination

Our solvent-based lamination process is used to create multi-layer packaging structures that offer enhanced protection and durability. This is achieved by permanently bonding two or more layers of material together to form a single, robust film.

Creating Protective and Durable Structures : The primary purpose of lamination is to combine the strengths of different materials into one. For instance, we can create structures that provide a strong barrier against moisture, oxygen, and light, which is essential for extending the shelf life of many products. This process also improves the overall strength, stiffness, and puncture resistance of the packaging, ensuring it performs well throughout the supply chain and on the shelf.

Material Combinations and Finishes : We can laminate a variety of substrates to meet specific functional and aesthetic requirements. Our process is compatible with a wide range of materials, including PET, metallized PET (MET PET), BOPP, CPP, LDPE, aluminum foil, and paper. By combining these materials in different ways, we can customize the performance of the final package. Lamination also plays a role in the final look and feel, allowing for different finishes such as gloss, matte, or metallic effects as part of the structure.
